WHOLE SUN CATALOG

The Whole Sun Catalog (WSC) was a project In cooperation with the SOHO Archive and BASS2000 with the goal of creating a central catalog of all solar observations made around the world every day.

There are well over 60 solar observatories located around the world each obtaining a wide variety of potentially useful observations. However, tracking down all the available observations, even in the internet age, can be a logistical nightmare. The Whole Sun Catalog was founded with the idea that if one could collect a list of all available solar observations at a single site.

Currently, some of the main concepts of WSC are developed by archive projects like VSO and EGSO.
